Following a state level meeting that reviewed normal mineral water schemes, the government of Chattisgarh is ready with a plan meant to provide mineral water via solar water pumps. This plan will be executed in nearly 1,700 non-electrified village agreements. These agreements cover 10 Naxalite affected districts of the state.
The govt wishes to provide safe water in these places. These 10 regions come under the centrally provided Integrated Action Plan (IAP) for growth of primary facilities in the Naxalite places.
This plan includes nine states. A panel advancing by the Region Enthusiast manages the resources. It is a highly effective growth program. For the objective of setting up water pumps in Chattisgarh, the center has approved an amount of Rs 200,000,000. Solar pumps will be set up in distant towns of Bastar, Kanker, Dantewada, Bijapur, Narayanpur, Sarguja, Jashpur, Kabirdham and Rajnandgaon regions.
Well, this move is eco-friendly and cost-effective as these pumps have lower function and servicing cost and have less effect on the surroundings in evaluation to pumps operated by an inner burning engine. In deficiency of lines power and deficiency of adequate energy from alternative resources, solar-powered water pumps seems to be very useful.
