Experienced with a backlog of plans for farming energy relationships, the state-owned energy submission organization, Paschim Gujarat Vij Company Limited (PGVCL), plans to to get a lead project of setting up solar water pumps on farming plants.

“We have acceptance from the Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited (GUVNL) , the having organization of PGVCL. We shall set up five solar water pumps on lead foundation on farming analysis plants of Junagadh Agricultural School (JUA). Tenders for the same will be released soon,” said Sandeep Kumar, md (MD), PGVCL , on Friday.

Kumar said the pumps would be set up in different areas of Saurashtra to analyze their efficiency and stability. The JUA would not have any economical responsibility for the venture, he included.

The JAU has 17 analysis centers distribute across seven regions of Saurashtra.

“The project is part of the initiatives by GUVNL to broaden its resources of energy and focus on utilizing solar power. Based on the success of the lead venture, we shall decide on copying the design on a bigger range,” Kumar said.

According to Kumar, if the project is successful, the solar water pump would help obvious backlog of programs looking for farming energy relationships. As many as 2.5 lakh plans were waiting with PGVCL in Feb this season, while the determine for the condition was standing at 4.6 lakh.
